Ben Payne is the President and founder of Risk Management Associates of Georgia Inc. He is a retired Law Enforcement Officer with 26 plus years experience. During his Law Enforcement career, Ben held numerous command positions including Acting Chief of Police, Director of Special Operations Unit and Commander of CID (Criminal Investigation Division) and Uniform divisions. He established Selective Enforcement Teams to focus on high profile crimes.  He was instrumental in establishing Police departments on five Indian reservations. He has received many citations and commendations including Medal of Valor, Medal of Honor, Officer of the month several times and Officer of the year. He was chosen as Director of Security for the 1999 and 2003 World Cup Soccer tournaments, where he was responsible for forming a team of 16 agents, developing policies and procedures and assigning an agent to each participating team. 

Ben holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and A Bachelors Degree in Risk Management. He has participated and led the security initiative for numerous major special events. He is a member  of International Association of Professional Protection Agents, ASIS, Georgia Crime Commission and International Association of Chiefs of Police Risk Management Associates of Georgia, Inc. have provided protection details both domestically and internationally for many high profile clients. Ben is a recognized leader in the business community, his church, and numerous civic organizations.
